I have basically gotten it tattooed on my body and painted on my car, but I’ll say it again: you can’t decide people’s lives don’t matter in “just” one little area. Once you accept the premise, it infects your entire worldview.
I firmly believe that this--anti-mask/free-floating ableism re COVID--is one of the reasons why people became cruel, disaffected and disarticulated enough from any sense of the collective good, disarticulated enough to happily usher in technofascism.
Cool how the net result of COVID-19 wasn't preventing deaths or changing society for the better or anything it was just letting all of you normal people indulge in your complete sociopathy toward the disabled freely and without restraint

Your regular reminder that the COVID pandemic is NOT over. Please use language accordingly. Don’t refer to ‘during the pandemic’ or ‘post-COVID’ or ‘since COVID’. We are still in the thick of it - wave after wave. People are still dying or becoming disabled from Long COVID

This photo popped up today and I love it. Cooks Beach Gualala. The rock looks like an otter cracking a shell on its belly.
