And folks lose their pallets regularly for a variety of reasons. Oh you want to visit family for 5 days? You risk losing your pallet. You argue with your neighbour? Risk of one or both losing their pallet.

Why do I need spousal consent to move my pension to a LIRA? Do spouses try to hide pension funds, is that why?
I resent the fact that I worked and saved for the pension and yet I cannot decide to move it without my husband’s consent.

They are now doing a TikTok dance challenge!!
J has piano lessons in a church, and there is a birthday party happening in the hall with a DJ. The DJ does not seem to care they are in a church lol. It is WILD for a Monday night where there are a bunch of kids here

I glutened myself today. And I tried to figure out how it was possible because I made homemade mac and cheese with gf pasta, gf flour, and gf breadcrumbs.
Then I remembered that I had a similar reaction the last time I used this pasta. It’s a good brand, but now I’m suspicious 😭

The kids wanted to play Just Dance and set it up. M realized she could not keep up so I stepped in her place. Then Gracie joined me and ended up in the recording and everything 😂 she loves to dance

My child, who I have to drag out of bed at 6:50 on a weekday, was up watching YouTube at 6 am.

If anyone has suggestions for podcasts or books about parenting preteen girls, it would be welcomed. I would like to not be awake worrying every night.

Every single day, M says “thank you mama” after I give her supper. Today she made KD and a smoothie herself, and still said thank you. I was like uh, you made it. And she said “I know, but you bought the food.” 🥹

Went to see if I could catch the Aurora. Cloud is covering right now but you can see the pillars coming through. It is creepy! No colour though. Just weird all around.

Last night I cooked up ground beef and lentils and onions and then this morning I threw them in the slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients for chili, and it was bomb. So good.

I got my skates sharpened today and then skated for over an hour - what a difference. They had been factory sharpened but they just didn’t feel right. Now I can stop and skate backwards. Working towards learn backwards crosscuts. I even did a decent spiral (only on one foot though lol)
