I don't want a video explaining how to do the thing. I want step-by-step instructions in a plain text document, on a single page, ideally that I can see all of without scrolling while using a reasonably big font.

Starmer ravages Farage:

"The honourable member for Clacton is not here... he's flown to America to badmouth and talkdown our country. And worse than that... he's gone there to lobby the Americans to impose sanctions. You cannot get more unpatriotic than that. It's a disgrace."

My 10-year old dared me to squirt toothpaste directly into my mouth. Piss easy I thought (arrogantly I now realise), and gave a good old squeeze for effect. It’s been an hour and the back of my throat is still burning.

I did think the Lib Dem fines for music on public transport was a little over the top.

After two hours of a group playing ABBA on repeat, I have been forced to reconsider that view.

We built a den in our local woods with the kids last weekend. They wanted to go back and visit it, which we did - twice. On both occasions it was being used by teenagers smoking cannabis.

We looked on resentfully from a distance. My daughter offered me £2 to tell them we’d built it.

Are we about to see swathes of MAGA climate change deniers driving electric cars?

Yesterday I was chastised by my daughters teacher and told that it is highly inappropriate for her to know the term adhd at 8 years old. Don’t worry though, because she assured me that they are a very inclusive school!

For an environmental manager it’s quite satisfying that my daughter’s old nursery is planned as a test site for direct air carbon capture. I’ll be watching with interest.

A ROW of buildings could be demolished in order to clear the way for an environmental research project.

4 year old said I must be a kid because I stopped to watch a plane fly over and only kids do that. She then confused herself when she realised I was about to drive and, as we all know, kids don’t drive. She finally opted that I must in fact be a cat. Exceptional logic.

Belle held up well and looking good (as good as she ever did anyway)

Forky has been retrieved for repairs. Slight oversight using washable paints. I’m hoping second generation Forky will prove more water resistant.

Scared to go out and see what the rainstorms last night have made of Forky and Belle.

Scarecrows are up. I’m pretty proud of Forky. Belle is a creepy as ever.

Daughter wasn’t impressed with my attempt at a nose, so she is going without.

I’m not sure if we’ve made her more or less terrifying…

Anybody wanting to guarantee themselves nightmares…we’re attempting to make a ‘Belle’ scarecrow 😳😬

Naturally we all know Johnson is a habitual liar, but it is somehow still satisfying to see a shiny official report confirming it.

If you’re not playing on a sewage outfall pipe are you even at the british seaside?

This evening’s entertainment is watching some people who have been stranded by the tide getting their feet soaked crossing a river to get back. Wish I’d brought my cider with me.
