I suppose if she‘s really never tried any other cuisines British food would be the best….and the worst.

Imagine being that determined to deny yourself small joys of life.

I think we interpret some of those statements differently Steve, and I’m not inclined to spend my Friday night deciphering what the Green Party means by them all. What I can say is that I enjoy living in a multi-cultural society and I’m glad that some politicians are expressing how I feel.

I don’t know you and have no idea if you’re a racist or not. Neither do I have an affiliation to any political party. A quick web search however shows that The Green Party says it would ‘Implement a fair and humane system of managed immigration.’ So not open borders.

I don’t think anybody is suggesting uncontrolled immigration. Taking your point about doctors , given the huge waiting lists we have on the NHS, is the issue too much competition or too few positions funded?

People perceive immigration is too high because that’s the information we’re fed. I‘m glad there are voices challenging that, shame it’s not coming from Labour as well.

I don't want a video explaining how to do the thing. I want step-by-step instructions in a plain text document, on a single page, ideally that I can see all of without scrolling while using a reasonably big font.

Every 2 weeks we get a post on the road WhatsApp group complaining about primary school age kids riding their bikes/scooters. I doubt they’d bother to complain to parents directly if they couldn’t just tap away on their phones. It does put you off having the kids play out.

I have a daughter who is autistic and that is precisely how she would have answered you too. Literal interpretation of language in her case 🙂

I once witnessed a bank robbery. I was in the area again and thought I’d show my daughter the bank. It had been replaced by a play area. She found that much more interesting.

Easily solved, choose your favourite and ship the other off to private school 😁

Doesn’t stop when they’re babies either. Schools are particularly prone to talking down.

Visited when heavily pregnant on a scorching hot day. At the end of a long day had to run (quickly waddle) to avoid missing the train back to Bratislava. We missed the train despite my husband’s very unwelcome calls of ‘run quicker!’

It’s probably perfectly fine but I hate it.

I remember my Dad ordering it with no clue what it was. The smell was horrendous 😂

My Dad keeps a spreadsheet to track how much they’re saving by maximising the cheap rates 😁
