I think the best path to getting our demands met is with a general strike - protests are good, boycotts are better but still not enough. A critical step towards general strike is to unionize your workplace or join and be active in your union. If you don't know where to start try workerorganizing.org

Apparently saying "Free Palestine" in my bio makes me antisemitic. Let me be clear: Jewish people, just like all people, deserve to be safe and happy. Palestinian people also deserve to be safe and happy. My beef is with the state of Israel, IDF and anyone actively contributing to oppression.

This is what the trolley problem really looks like. Capitalists control the levers of power. Every time they cut corners on safety measures, every time they lobby against safety or environmental regulations, they are choosing their own profits over YOUR health and safety. This is not a just system.

I went back to my followers list to take screen shots but it looks like most of the bots that followed me are no longer on that list, I'm assuming accounts removed. Most of them were adult content and gofundme's for Palestine which I assume are scams. I did get this account.

Holiday Solidarity was great! LVDSA volunteers prepared and distributed 180 Thanksgiving meal kits, and cooked a feast for us all to share together with our unhoused community members. So much positive energy and so many new faces! Mutual aid is so healing 💕🥖🌹

Capitalism is working as intended: the rich get richer and the working class stay poor and uneducated and desperate so they are easier to exploit. Socialism is the path toward a more just world.
