This is a lot to find - but small donations have already added up and could trigger business donations and matched funding or at least delay the sale while funds are found.

Why can I remember no Labour politician making this point, this well?

Everybody except the Greens seems to think the best way to fight Reform is to agree with Farage about everything.

This, right here, is brilliant. And genuinely patriotic. And so, so true.

Just emailed my MP asking him to join his colleagues in demanding that the government leaves X following Elon Musk's recent comments. It literally takes two minutes to do, and I encourage everyone to do the same: www.writetothem.com.
I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.

So I wrote a blog about ten things you can do *right now* to help defeat Farage, Musk, and rightwing populism.

From scrutinising Reform councillors to demanding the UK Govt leave X - get involved:

Every day the government delays banning the sale of peat compost means more carbon lost to the atmosphere from this appalling practice

Vast areas of peatland destroyed since peat ban announced exactly 3 years ago | The Wildlife Trusts
It has been three years since the UK Government announced that it would ban the sale of peat for use in the amateur gardening sector, yet there is still no sign of legislation to enact the ban.

Fun fact: we devote ten times more space to golf courses in England than we do to allotments (source: OS Greenspace data) www.independent.co.uk/climate-chan...

This sounds bad. Allotments are a form of municipal socialism. Rayner should be all for them.

If they *have* to raise more money from them, surely raising the very low rents would be a compromise? Flog them and they're gone forever

Happy to report that only half a dozen turned up for the anti-immigrant protest at the hotel in Wolverhampton.

They were met by 100 anti-racism protesters from @sutrbirmingham.bsky.social and locals, who subsequently had a whip-round to buy some nice food for the asylum seekers in the hotel.
