Reconsidering my life choices early for 2026. I’m surprised there wasn’t smoke coming off my glutes - they were burning for the entire training session

A great chat about modern day adventure, expedition and exploration and what these terms mean these days along with the different drivers people have for doing them. Love that it was recorded RGS expedition archive! So apt
It was a real pleasure to speak with the Adventure Podcast about the state of modern expedition culture. The episode was recorded in the Royal Geographical Society’s expedition archive room for extra authenticity!

While this is a step in the right direction, it starkly highlights a painful feeling: the Sudanese crisis – a full-fledged famine driven by a preventable proxy war – has been overlooked. On 15 April 2023, war broke out in Sudan, plunging the country into chaos as rival military factions clashed for control. This violent conflict has led to widespread destruction, displacing millions and triggering a humanitarian catastrophe. Stories of sexual assault and other horrific acts continue to underscore the dire circumstances faced by those remaining in Sudan.
