So sad at the outcome of Strictly. Completely going to miss the outgoing contestant - she made everyone reevaluate her. So impressed. #Strictly

If you are a cis woman who supports trans folk, please consider signing this. Thank you.
To mark the 1st day of my 4th year without Alice I have an announcement:
I’ve joined up with a determined group of women working to change the narrative around trans people. Women standing in solidarity with our trans siblings.

Our first step is to ask cis women to read and sign our open letter ⬇️
Not in our name: Women in support of the trans+ community
Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

I’m so proud of my trans daughter for coming out in this intolerant climate

“Transphobia is rife now, in the same way that homophobia was 20 years ago. It seems that the parallels with that situation are now ignored, as again our society finds ways to “other” people for being different”

Thought I’d give this another push. Thanks to all of you who have read and found something of interest in it.
I’ve written a column for US magazine The Christian Century for several years. My latest is about what cherishing #trans lives might look like through a theological lens. It’s a passionate, furious piece as such times as these require. Do share:

A wise friend just made this point. It is worrying that so many fear for the safety of Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde in the wake of her sermon delivered in the land of the free. Surely it shouldn't be seen as or require courage in one of the world's greatest democracies?
