82 years and a week ago my Grampy, fresh out of Marine Corps boot camp, climbed aboard a ship in this harbor that would take him halfway around the world to a series of islands in the South Pacific. He repaired planes for Pappy Boyington. He was my hero. I miss him. #Midway

Travel day to San Diego. OK with TSA at my podunk airport, and a layover in Chicago means Garrett’s Popcorn. Thank goodness for mileage points to upgrade my seat and window seats for privacy and a nap. I promise to be polite and assist those who need it because it’s shit out there for everyone. 🛫
