The Liberal party of Canada had the audacity to promise disabled folks help, hang that promise on a string for years, bait & switch it, and now say they're delivering the Canada Disability Benefit accurately & on time?

Fuck outta here. This is a complete failure, & will be even when it's delivered.

This turned out to be the same woman Simon's used in that disgusting commercial romanticizing MAID.

People will say these were all “choices” - but to an extent I disagree. If someone is suffering from something that is treatable - or due to financial circumstances - do we not have a duty to help them before we offer them death?

Why are we taking the easy (and cheap) way out instead?

Or “Sophia” who did MAiD because she was unable to find safe and affordable housing with her multiple chemical sensitivities:

Or Stephanie Lavoie - who was sick enough to qualify for assisted death and yet not sick enough to get the Iv nutritional support she needed to live.

She was only 59lbs when she “chose” MAiD

Or Normand Meunier - a quadriplegic man who did MAiD after being left on a stretcher in the ER for four days and developing horrible bedsores.

Neglect led to his death. Would they have treated him better if it wasn’t cheaper to help him end his life?

Like this woman with EDS - who thought that being approved for MAiD would open up treatment options or palliative care.

Instead she’s been left in pain to suffer with death being the only option:

You can’t support politicians and political parties that spew hatred and division and expect that the hate will never arrive on your doorstep.

Giving up $1.8Billion in tax revenue is a non-issue to the Federal government. (Unless it's on medical cannabis, that is)

However, Spending more than $1.4Billion per year on the Canada Disability Benefit? That's an issue to multiple government parties.

Namely Liberals and NDP.

It took me 6 years to build that and in those 6 years my disability has compounded even more and so it's like can I even do it again? I'm stuck and need advice or some shit 😣
