So true. People don't typically intend to discriminate in policy or in society. But it's not about the intent – it's about the impact. It's always about the impact.

Later on in the report they come to the conclusion that unmet needs aren't a driving cause of MAID.

...How can they make said conclusion when:

1) they earlier admitted there's no official record of this data

2) the MAID report with their data for the past year is late

CMAJ report on what drives people to MAID in Canada:

"MAiD reporting from most jurisdictions does not include
data on disabilities or support services,"

Federal gov has their own "reports" that are "difficult to either confirm or refute, since no objective measure of access to services exists."
