Real life hero’s don’t wear capes, or drape themselves in Union flags.. they’re often humble, average & in this case wore a Train Drivers Uniform👇🏼

Andrew Johnson served in Iraq, his quick thinking undoubtedly saved lives but no praise from Farage, Reform, Lowe etc

He doesn’t fit their narrative 🤷🏼‍♂️
'Hero' train driver saved many lives after 'doing right thing' in mass stabbing
Andrew Johnson, who has been working as a train driver since 2018, is believed to have served in the Royal Navy for 17 years and was deployed to Iraq in 2003 during the second Gulf War

My advice to people, take I'm angry at people not being paid as badly as me.

And turn it into, I'm angry at being paid badly.

Median wage 2008 - £24,769
Median wage 2025 - £29,600

Inflation from 2008-2025 - 70.51%, your wage should be £42,231

We should all be angry.

The state we are in.

24m Britons, 36% of the population, live below minimum socially acceptable living standard.

Wealth systematically transferred to the rich - 1% have more than 70% of the population combined.

Can't rebuild without improving spending power of the bottom 50% of population.
New report shows 24 million people in the UK are below minimum socially acceptable living standards
New research reveals a sharp rise in the number of individuals in the UK living in households with incomes below the Minimum Income Standard (MIS).

Fact - Brexit is the cause of increased legal & asylum immigration. The fact is that leaving the EU, & simultaneously the Dublin Agreement, neutered Britain’s chances of simply returning illegal migrants to safe countries in the EU that they had travelled through to reach the UK.
Macron is right – Brexit is to blame for Britain’s immigration crisis
The French president did not hold back on how Brexit had created the small boats crisis – the reverse of the promises made by Farage and other Brexiteers, notes David Maddox

The more we discover, the worse it gets. Now we learn the water companies wrote the guidance ensuring sewage sludge is not tested for the vast majority of contaminants before being spread on farmland. They gave themselves a free licence to dump hazardous waste. 🧵

While I welcome the action from the UK government…

It will never been forgotten that it took this many deaths and atrocities, and a UN warning that 14,000 babies are at risk of starving to death for them to take a stand

Utterly shameful.

I wish more journalists, and politicians for that matter, would call this out as clearly as @maitlis.bsky.social does here. When you make grooming gangs and abuse about race and immigration you deflect from the majority of abusers. All of it should be called out, irrelevant of race.
"Why do you 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 talk about Pakistani grooming gangs? There are 𝙩𝙚𝙣 times as many white grooming gang suspects?"

@maitlis.bsky.social asks ex-Reform MP @rupertlowe.bsky.social why he won't denounce all perpetrators of grooming gangs equally.

One problem; there is no treatment for measles. Signed, a doctor who’s been forced to deal with measles because of this stupid fraud.
RFK Jr. asks CDC for new measles treatment guidance amid his unfounded claims
Kennedy claimed that drugs like budesonide and clarithromycin "have been shown very effective" for measles, but doctors say they don't fight the infection itself.

A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die.

Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.

#RejoinEU
Labour's ONLY reason not to #RejoinEU given is that it's in manifesto not to.

So let's demand a Rejoin referendum, which is not in their manifesto, getting rid of that pathetic excuse.

Please Sign and Share! Let's get it to 10k for a response...

A lot of people who are angry with Labour are going to sit out the local elections. That's just what Farage and the Brexit media want.

If you're fed up with Labour then vote LibDems or Green. Don't help fascism by abstaining.

We urgently need to burst Farage's bubble.
