Pastoralists are stewards of Indigenous and local knowledge, and care for rangelands that span half the planet.

During 2026 International #YearofRangelandsPastoralists, we honour both the lands and the communities that depend on them.

Did you know that antimicrobial resistance (AMR) isn’t just a human or animal health issue, but it affects plants, too? 🦠🌱
AMR is when bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites no longer respond to antimicrobial medicines, making infections hard to treat. It’s no different for agricultural crops. 1/

When 'harmless fun' isn't: important info ⤵️
I have warned folks about these info and data mining memes for years, it is all done to guess or reveal details to hackers and exploiters.
Hi pocket besties,

Something I don't talk about is my Cyber security background. 👀

Please be careful when you post your specific information online. Many "fun" surveys lead to answers for your security questions online.

There are ppl whose job it is to connect the dots. Don't give them yours.

Terrific explanation by @jandutkiewicz.bsky.social in @vox.com of why you don't have to worry about lead in your protein powder.

Setting unrealistic target levels for contaminants and then testing stuff and claiming it's unsafe has a long and storied history.
