Found on martiniden666's Tumblr - thought this was a drawing but the caption says it's a photo from 1953 titled Cat in the Snow from photographer Hannes Kilian.

I don't like to dress cats up in clothes, but for Halloween I do put stealth costumes on Francie when she's sleeping.
My fluffy white cat Francie curled up in a ball. Placed in the center of the white circle her body forms is a round piece of paper decorated with marker to look like a green human iris. It makes Francie look like a big hairy eyeball.

i almost catapulted myself from the stairs the other day
