Republican pols, I listened to you prattle on for years about fascism and freedom. You were lying the whole time.

The working class can survive and will thrive without billionaires, while billionaires depend on the working class and their consumerism to survive. Remember that.

I really wish rather than saying, "Kash Patel is bad," Dems would say, "If Kash Patel kills investigations into corruption, right wing terrorism, and Russian spying, you will be responsible."

For the sin of referring to the Gulf of Mexico by its traditional name, the Associated Press was denied the privilege of having Elon Musk lie to their face while wearing a toddler on his hat.
New: the AP says it was blocked from an Oval Office event after being informed that it would be barred if it didn’t follow President Trump’s guidance on renaming the Gulf of Mexico

@sangernyt.bsky.social dedicated 800 words to Trump stripping Biden of security clearance.

He couldn't fit in any to explain that Biden stripped Trump of his clearance because he launched a coup.

To say nothing of the classified documents he refused to give back.

Good time to remind you that the REASON why Elon is trying to cut funding for hospitals is bc he wants a tax cut.
Here are the 25 institutions that receive the most NIH funding (98% of HHS is NIH). Basically, they're large schools with large hospitals. They receive 50% of all NIH funding.

And by Palantir, Wired also means AI.

I love that an outlet named Wired is doing so much to defeat a twisted propaganda version of Woke.

Another reason it is downright stupid is bc going to court is a way to get facts on a sworn record far more quickly than FOIA. For example, DOJ made representations abt what happened at Treasury that conflict with reporting about same. That's a useful TOOL going forward.

If you're going to disseminate Trump's propaganda note that:
1) All Elon found was $40K or less in subscription fees
2) That's not the billions Trump claims it is
3) It sure as hell isn't the $2T Elon promised

Imagine saying this about an agency that has helped millions of people around the world avoid malaria, obtain clean water, and gain access to food & health care. Especially when you’re the world’s richest man & your net worth is something like 20 times this agency’s annual budget. What a foul soul.

The DEI caused the plane crash narrative is a distraction. The tariffs are a distraction. Whatever insane nonsense Trump spews that the media will chase like cats chasing a laser light is a distraction. The only story that counts right now is the wholesale hijacking of control of the US government.

We all like to yell at the Democrats, but it’s really Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune who are letting Elon Musk and his faceless goon squad make a mockery of their power as leaders of a coequal branch without uttering a peep or lifting a finger.
