I know AI is a huge source of contention for many people. Is it perfect? Heck no! But, I strongly believe there is a place for AI in business, and if workers aren't willing to adapt, they will eventually be replaced.
Execs say workers have to adapt to AI, but workers are resisting
While 75% of C-suite execs think their company’s AI rollout in the previous year was successful, only 45% of employees thought the same, per Writer.

I literally learn something new every day. What a fun video to start my morning. If you're a color nerd like me, this was a great video to learn more about the difference formulas we use in design.

On April 14, 1828 Noah Webster published his American Dictionary of the English Language. The project took him more than 2 decades to finish and introduced more than 10,000 "Americanisms"

One man and more than 20 years but he got it done, and it still lives on today. That's a crazy thought.

Maya Angelou overcame a lot in her life. And she wrote...a lot! Today is her birthday and there are hundreds of Maya Angelou quotes about life and love and justice and creativity and beauty, but for someone who has to work hard to write, this one definitely speaks to me.

This article seriously makes me want to find an old typewriter for my office.

'We use them every day': In some parts of the US, the clack of typewriter keys can still be heard
Computers and smartphones might be where most writing is done these days, but typewriters still have work to do in the US.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day. I've had the honor to work with several clients whose books are a look into their lives -- the joys and struggles of having a child with a disability. Laurie Hellmann is one of those parents. Learn more about Laurie and her mission at

There is absolutely no way that I would be where I am today if it wasn't for the shared knowledge and support of The Admin Bar. Recently, I had an opportunity to share more of who I am and what I do with The Admin Bar, and I'm so happy that I did.

Sandy Wiles didn’t set out to be a web designer — she started as a virtual assistant in 2007, handling emails, calendars, and admin work. But over time, she realized what she loved was working on websites. In 2017, she made the leap to focusing entirely on WordPress, and she hasn’t looked back since.

I am forever fascinated by people. Today, Toni Morrison caught my attention. She was a novelist and ground-breaking editor, and today is her birthday. Her list of accomplishments is long -- including a Pulitzer, a Nobel, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I am not only reading, but also living, The Pivot Year. I probably wouldn't have used the word "chaos" to explain the last few years, but today's reading was spot on, and 2025 definitely has a different vibe for me. It's a little quieter. It's more intentional. It's underwhelming in a very good way.

I saw a post with 20 sans-serif fonts. Some I've used in projects and others were new to me, but it motivated me. I'm finally going to go through all of my screenshots and notes and create an organized list of my favorites.

Do you have any favorites you'd be willing to share? (No Adobe fonts, pls)
