The amount of time I spend reviewing AI-written code is significantly higher compared to human-written code. The author effectively dumps all the effort in writing code onto the reviewer, impacting cycle time, code quality, and respect for colleagues.

TIL China has a single time zone and doesn’t do daylight savings time
TBH would vastly vastly prefer that for scheduling things and also not having to reset sleep schedule twice a year

every time theres a major outage at least part of the fuckery is something like "yeah we dogfed the thing that went down into all of our internal tooling with 0 backups so we had to figure that out first"
