We are mad becuae our elected officials have taken the authority, but refuse to lead. Instead they stand to the side amd wring their hands while a madman leads his cruel regime. We need a leader, someone to follow. The people are rising up, but we have no central figure to look to. We only have us.

When someone runs for public office, they are asking the people for a measure of authority. We in exchange expect them to lead. To step in front and guide the way. To be the one to organize, stand at the head of the formation, and to be someone we can rally behind.
