I know it’s a bummer to say so, because everyone loved having a winter with way less snow and rain in NL, but now the ground is so dry that we have multiple forest fires in early May. A direct consequence of climate change, and a scary start to a long fire season.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

The fact that the Conservative party is trying to openly advocate for the restriction of what university researchers can and can't study, should be incredibly concerning for everybody.
Restricting higher education based on your political or religious ideology is basic fascist stuff.
