This is my second biggest pet peeve about recipe writers. The top spot goes to baking recipes with volume measurements “because people don’t own scales” or worse yet recipes written in volumes and converted to weights mathematically without testing the weights recipe.

I got a VAP because someone had a heart attack. That kept me going until I got a tt because an incompetent interim provost sat on an offer letter to first choice candidate for 6 weeks and he took another job. The search was reopened and I was available. I have no idea what I’d be doing on earth 2.
