Recently took a peek at Twitter and the disinformation is getting substantially more dangerous. Someone could get killed.
The tactics of constantly repeating outright lies, targeting specific people, repurposing years-old footage and presenting them as new is getting to another level. It’s scary.

I am my most anti-populist when it comes to the issue of politician compensation. it's not a good soundbite but members of congress should be paid like $1m annually and honestly I'd be fine with them not having to pay income tax on it, in exchange for total bans on most private investments.

Take away social security and Medicare as well as other social safety nets?
We get the return of what my mom remembers as “Poor Houses”, communal homes for the elderly and infirm.
