The idea that an ultra is an eating contest with some running thrown in has been a half joke for so long, it's fun to see someone take it this seriously and succeed.

The one on the left is my fave but I think the one on the right is best for the context.

This is mostly idle daydreaming but fr pedestrians need to figure out a way to scare drivers into fucking looking before they blow through a crosswalk.

Pebbles might also work but there is a long history of people getting irate over rocks being thrown at their cars.

I think the answer might be "a bundle of sticks." Easy to carry, eco-friendly. Would need to experiment with sizes for throwability though.
