It’s actually usually acceptable if you pay them! Example (this is from a larger conversation where OP doesn’t want to buy their siblings food which is understandable imo BUT):
What? Why should an older sibling be responsible in any way for their younger sibling!? If younger siblings need a babysitter, then the parents can pay the older sibling to babysit. If younger siblings want food, parents can buy it or pay the older sibling to pick up or order extra for the younger ones. But in no way should an older sibling be required to "look after" younger siblings - especially younger siblings who are more than old enough to look after themselves in this particular way.

Recently I've been shoulder-checked by multiple men while running and while walking. The first incident occurred on Oct 15, and the second one occurred today. These were not "oops, sorry I didn't see you", but rather men looking me dead in the eyes, swerving, and ramming their shoulder into mine. It doesn't matter if I'm adhering to the traffic flow rules of the places I'm in--they are going out of their way to hurt random women.

My sister is a legit artist, with a studio and paint and stuff, so when I make her things I let her pick the colors from my yarn collection, then I get mad the combo looks so good and I never would’ve thought of that!
A market bag half crocheted, out of dark green, a terracotta color and off white. Teal is gonna be for the handle!

It's setting alarms at 2 a.m. It's skipped meals and aching backs. It's managing suction settings like a science experiment you can't afford to mess up. It's your worth tangled up in ounces. And when it doesn't add up it breaks something inside of you. So if you've ever held a bottle and thought, This just isn't enough, I see you. You're not alone. And even on the days your output doesn't feel like enough you still are.
