Fascism thrives on silence. They want you tired, want you cynical, and want you to believe nothing can change.

Don’t hand them your surrender.

Stay vocal. Stay engaged. The future is built by those who refuse to be silenced.

“Conservatives” entire identity revolves around “owning the libs.” Without us, they have nothing to stand on. Just a hollow echo chamber of spite. No wonder they panic at the idea of losing us as their focus.
Kind of telling that rightwingers get furious when you mention leaving for Bluesky… but those on the left couldn’t care less if conservatives left our feeds. Almost like Republicans know that the value of a platform comes from having the left there.

Pam Bondi, Trump's new AG pick, might be one of the most corrupt people in the country. When Trump's charity donated to her as FL AG, she stopped investigating Trump University. He did it. He found someone as bad as Matt Gaetz.

Not surprised!
Before Gaetz dropped out, I was going to point out how Sen. Josh Hawley has been saying he intended to support the nomination, which reminded me of his vote against Justice Jackson's confirmation, in which he (speciously) accused her of being soft on sex predators:

Josh Hawley’s hypocrisy is almost impressive. Voted against every Biden nominee but thinks Trump is “entitled” to a Cabinet full of extremists? Spare us the shameless double standards.

Matt Gaetz withdrawing was inevitable. The real problem? The GOP has an endless supply of FREAKS waiting in the wings.

Top 9 states for STD rates are all Republican strongholds. So much for “family values.” I guess hypocrisy really is contagious.
New report is out from the CDC on states with the highest rate of STD infections. The top 9 are all Republican states.

1. LA
2. MS
3. AK
4. SD
5. GA
6. AL
7. NC

The GOP’s bathroom obsession is downright laughable. Imagine spending your political career so fixated on where people piss. CREEPS!
The funny counter to the whole Nancy Mace trans bathroom thing is, Republican men REALLY seem DESPERATE to have trans women in their bathrooms
November 21, 2024 at 2:21 PM
The GOP’s favorite pastime seems to be projecting their own behavior onto everyone else. They decry “identity politics” while centering their entire platform on fearmongering about trans people. It’s time we call this hypocrisy what it is, a distraction from their lack of solutions for real issues.

Christian nationalism creeping into public education is nothing short of a direct attack on the principle of equal opportunity. Oklahoma's blatant push for taxpayer-funded religious indoctrination is a disgrace. This overreach cannot be ignored or tolerated.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the future of our public health. Trump’s picks like Dr Oz and RFK Jr are a slap in the face to science, public safety, and basic competence. Elevating quacks and conspiracy theorists to positions of power is a dangerous joke but the consequences are no laughing matter.
November 20, 2024 at 4:31 PM
The Trump Bible controversy in Oklahoma highlights the need for “religious nones”to become a stronger force in the Democratic coalition. We must push back against the fusion of religion and politics, ensuring a society where individual belief or non-belief is respected and free from state influence.

Dr. Oz in charge of Medicare and Medicaid? This charlatan sold miracle pills on TV and now he’s supposed to protect millions' healthcare? This isn't just a joke, it's a threat to public health. Disgraceful.

I truly wouldn’t care if a man dressed like the king of England was in the urinal next to me. I get that for extremely online rightwingers, a trip to a public bathroom might be the most memorable moment of the day, but the rest of us truly do not give a shit who is peeing nearby.

Nancy Mace is weirdly obsessed with targeting the first transgender member of Congress. What a creep.

Trump’s cabinet choices are a grim parade of accused predators and unhinged loyalists. It’s a deliberate strategy to entrench his chaos and corruption.

Trump elevating Greitens’ cronies like Will Scharf is yet another example of rewarding scandal-plagued lackeys. Missouri doesn’t need more toxic power players climbing the rank. This is corruption, recycled.

President-elect Trump says Will Scharf will serve as White House Staff Secretary.

Scharf ran for Attorney General in Missouri and was one of Trump’s attorneys.

The position of White House Staff Secretary is important and holds a great deal of power.

The mainstream media’s “both-sides” act has done nothing but normalize Trump’s chaos and embolden extremists. Enough with giving equal weight to lies. It’s fueling the very extremism it claims to denounce.
