I have ultimately deduced that this trend is loosely correlated with the phenomenon of ~relatively edgelord-y~ populists-being-offended-by-technical-language.
It does not cease to amaze me: a majority of people-who-try-to-debate-against-some-argument-I’ve-made are people who *agree* with the argument I’ve made. 😑

One thing I’ve learned being in leadership positions is that the more power you have over someone, the more you have to be gentle and reticent in exercising that power. Try to lift ppl up, try to avoid using them for your own ends. It’s a trap that’s easy to fall into.

Seeing the term ‘jihadist’ thrown around a lot when discussing rebel groups in Syria.
This kind of rhetoric, similar to how Ukrainians have been labeled Nazis, oversimplifies reality

A way to understand anti-trans anti-feminism is if a small group of mothers made fear and hatred of adoptive mothers or those that conceived with IVF like a central part of our politics and their own personality. Just fearful ragebait about "fake" mothers stealing all the diapers for "real" moms.
