Did I finish all my knit WIP’s in anticipation of GAL, yes! Did I feel lost without my knitting despite the big crochet blanket, also yes! So decided to start my next book socks too tide me over until the cast on party!

I knew I wanted a sheep knit for my #knittingthealphabet challenge 🐑 so O is for Ovis, the pattern is the Ovis Hat by Caitlin Hunter. Ovis is a genus of mammals of which sheep are a part! The hat is knitted in Malabrigo Rios Sunset and Elle Merino DK Black.

M is for Music and Memories. This scarf is inspired by Vinyl weekends, with the circular cables emulating the spinning records. It is knitted in Cowgirlblues Aran Singles in the Ruby Grapefruit colourway.

Took a trip to the nature reserve this morning, I find that being in nature is so refreshing and helps to clear the mind.

Saw some wildebeest, they were so close it felt like you could almost touch them! And we've had more rain than normal, so everything's green and full of wildflowers! ✨
