On the 1st July 2025, I started my #knittingthealphabet where I'm attempting to knit through the alphabet! 🧶 Mostly knitting, crochet and nature posts.
Thank you for this 🤗 but no need to apologize, I understand what it's like to feel marginalized and to be discriminated against, you are trying to make a difference & that's admirable. This event is a place where I've felt a sense of community and belonging - something I wish for others to feel too.

I'm not an organizer or moderator of the event, and I can only speak of my own experience as a participant, and queer designer, which personally has been positive. I'm so sorry that you feel this way, I love Harper Bee, and will definitely go and look into the other designers that you mentioned!

This is the full bundle of all patterns, not those in the current sale (which only contains 10 - 20 patterns by each designer) by all GAL designers it contains over 20000 entries.

When I first joined I was told the same thing, that I needed a min 20 published for sale patterns in order to participate as a designer, and this is mentioned in the FAQ questions for GAL designers on their page. While I could be mistaken, I don't think this was intended to be personal in any way.
