we cannot afford the political myths that pretend the government is financially constrained like a household or a commercial bank.

The government's job is to ensure we have enough money in the system to let everyone live, work and care without exceeding the limits of what the economy can supply.

3 things Starmer could do instead of camps in old barracks that would actually WORK👇

1. Create safe, regulated routes to apply for asylum in the UK

2. Let asylum seekers WORK & support themselves

3. Fast track status for people from obviously unsafe countries

For the vast majority of people (except Ukrainians and Hongkongers) there is NO WAY to claim asylum in the UK without coming by small boat

The only way to stop people making dangerous boat crossings to the UK is by creating safe and managed routes

Govt's plan is delusional

A few points for people who are continuing to misunderstand what’s going on about the Villa Park fan ban.
1) Banning of away fans happens. This is not unique. It’s happened to Dutch, German, Polish and Turkish fans recently.
2) Football hooliganism is *never* just about football. 1/4

People are just realising that we had a better grip on immigration within the EU
They gave us bar staff and builders - we gave them sunburnt pensioners and seaside property booms. It was win-win.

We can all agree that the attack on the Synagogue in Manchester was terrorism

So why is setting a Mosque alight just 'arson' and a 'hate crime' and also not terrorism?

Our media has a lot to answer for lately. Since when did marching against genocide become a hate march? Jewish people being attacked and killed at the synagogue this week was horrific. So is genocide and there’s nothing hateful about standing against it. #SocialistSunday

Charging 2% tax on assets over £10 million would raise £24 billion a year.

Labour claims its invented (see MMT) 'black hole' in the nation's finances = £22 billion.

So, that 2% tax would plug that notional hole, with £2 billion change, & NOT A SINGLE CUT to welfare budgets.

It's a choice.
