Right-wingers are accusing "the left" of being in an echo chamber, especially re: exodus from Twitter. But if the only reason you look beyond your political views is to chastise others for having views that oppose yours, how is that any less of being in an echo chamber?

How is it that German kids learn about their involvement in World War I and II and are somehow not as fragile about it as right-wing white Americans who don't want to learn about the history of slavery and racism so they don't feel "guilty"?

My mom and I watched a documentary on Netflix called Born in Gaza, focusing on children just after the Gaza War of 2014. It was very sobering. I support Israel's right to defend itself, but bombing UN schools? Kids at the beach? Digging up rural farmland? That's not at all about going after Hamas
