I want to give New Girl another chance. I watched it when it was airing but about 3 seasons I found that anyone who was "quirky" who wasn't Jess was seen as weird or annoying but all of Jess's antics were supposed to be seen as "adorkable". It got really irritating.

I also liked it more than most, but Best Director? He admitted to knowing nothing about Mexico or Mexican culture. That's shoddy work. I'm not against directors not speaking the language of the film they're directing in, but come on.

I recall listening to a podcast with Peter Attila where one of the doctors claimed that immunity was established by the fact that people who were hospitalized for Covid weren't hospitalized the second time around 🙄🙄
