Decouple from the gas based wholesale price - easy win except for the fossil fuel lobby having politicians of all stripes in their pockets.. the obscene profit taking will continue to the detriment of all UK energy bill payers.

I’ve said it before - easy win for the Government, de-couple the wholesale energy price - you’ve got to be in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry or really, really stupid to not make the connection and the PM ain’t stupid….

I can’t understand why this Government didn’t de-couple energy on the first day in No10 - instant ‘win’ with the public. I guess that the vested interests got to Labour to allow continued artificial profit taking. So disappointed, voting Green next opportunity…

That’s a heartbreaking read Lucy. I can’t imagine the long-term impact Lockdowns will have on that cohort of kids as they go through life. The larger part of a generation traumatised by the State.
