Rózsa's Ben-Hur score conveys the grandeur and drama of the Roman epic, Kodály's Háry János Suite captures the humour, pathos, and spirit of the boastful soldier's tales, and Rota's music for La Strada underscores the poignant relationship between its characters on their bittersweet journey.

Booking opens soon for our first concert, October 18, 2025, featuring music from Miklós Rózsa's score for the film epic Ben-Hur, Zoltán Kodály's Háry János Suite, and Nino Rota's score for Fellini's film La Strada. Graham Ross is making a welcome return to Salomon to conduct this glorious music.

It includes Vaughan Williams' "Pastoral" Symphony: melancholy in tone, it is a subtle yet deeply felt requiem for a generation lost to the Great War.

Charlie Lovell-Jones will play Britten's Violin Concerto. Written in the early weeks of World War II, it is his response to the impending conflict.
