The first rehearsal for our concert on the 9th of February at Smith Square Hall (previously St John's Smith Square). We're looking forward to working with Christopher Stark on this programme of American music.

Some photographs from Sunday's Conducting Masterclass at the Royal College of Music with Martyn Brabbins and the Salomon Orchestra. The students all did very well, and we enjoyed. We hope they did as well!

Following Salomon's recent performance of Mahler's Seventh Symphony, the next two concerts in the 24/25 season are planned and ready to go, so make a note in your diaries for Sunday, February 9th, and Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at Sinfonia Smith Square (previously St. John's Smith Square).

The February concert is at 16:30. Salomon is looking forward to working with conductor Christopher Stark and Baritone Michael Rosen. This is an all-American programme: opening with William Schuman's American Festival Overture, followed by songs by Aaron Copland and Amy Beach's "Gaelic" symphony.
