Of course, but it's not philosophical at all. It's about being good for what they do and not wanting to bear the cost of doing something new. Especially since they consumer demand isn't there yet.
i think most western auto execs never wanted to electrify at all, tbh.
Are auto execs just kinda clueless, or have they given up on teaching people that charging an EV isn't done at a station like refueling an ICE?
IMO including DCFC in PHEVs is fine for luxury and performance cars, but not normal cars like a RAV4. It's gonna be a pathetic 50kW max with an awful curve
