The book I’m writing is titled HOME OUT THERE. It’s about black queer people leaving home to find home. I weave my own experiences with biographical chapters about three black queer poet ancestors: Langston Hughes, Pauli Murray and Audre Lorde.

There’s real irony in this: lawmakers can’t get back to DC to vote to reopen the government because flights are canceled, thanks to the same shutdown they caused.

🇺🇦 Zelensky: Today we celebrate a very important day – the third anniversary of the expulsion of the Russian occupiers from Kherson.

I awarded state awards to people of various professions – military and civilian – who all serve their state in Kherson.

Look people. I’m a man who likes to have options on how he wants to play the same game on the go.

Standing up to a tyrant - who is willing to impose pain as leverage to compel loyalty or acquiescence - is hard. You can convince yourself that yielding stops the pain and brings you back to "normal".

But there is no "normal". Submission emboldens the tyrant. The threat grows.
