I said this elsewhere but Sonic's gonna win. Nintendo is always very bad at online. I do prefer the wall riding mechanic and knockout tour, but multiplayer games in this era need to excel at online play. Crossworlds felt good to play, an exceptional kart racer but MKW offered something fresh imo

I really feel like if #thegameawards are going to include rereleases, they should be part of their own category. Like, its fine to highlight which game got the best rerelease, but it shouldnt be competing with games that are *actually* new, yknow? I feel like this is just comical.
