After everything that happened, I still believe that student deserves the chance to go to school and learn. What will happen to students like them? I saw firsthand how we have already been failing students like this. When their program disappears altogether, where will they go? 🧵 3/3

Near the end of my time there, the student started coming to my classroom. One time, they attacked another student and the rest of us had to run out of the room to another place where we hid. This was not the first time I encountered a child who struggled like this. 🧵 2/3
