Yeah but then Google can't push promote ad results as the first three things you get back from your search, so they have no incentive anymore to make using an actual search engine good. Line must go up and all that

Historically they're not the first, but I feel like after so many failures you'll eventually learn when to let go of bad bets like this.

I think the narrative is actually women are showing up to push back against fascism.

Young men are still quite far to the right compared to their women peers

I think this election turn out shows what the American people actually want, we need to work to stand up against the billions that the owner class is throwing against the working class.

It's a winning strat to have bold candidates on the left that have solidarity with us, not billionaires

And lacking a lot of the overall themes I'm used to Brennan weaving into the story.

Looking forward to a season 2 though! It's a good world and fun characters, I just think the ending got away from everyone 2/2

Idk if you guys care about feedback and I think this is an unpopular opinion but I gotta say:

I loved the season up to the last episode, but the finale was not good imo. Waay too many bits that took away from the story. Too many attempts to circumvent bad rolls. Disappointing character wrap ups 1/2

But I shouldn't expect more from Online People™ who are effectively ok with the status quo bc it drives traffic (and thus money) their way from scared people who will actually be affected by the rise of fascism

To them any attempt to work on the problem will always be too violent or too ineffectual

So while these protests dont directly do anything, it does get white suburbanite moms who were never really politically active to start building solidarity with their fellow citizens so they hopefully show up when the real work starts. Nothing will get done until we shake off our political apathy /4

Americans won't do a general strike until they get used to the idea that there are millions of others here who will stand with them. We don't have the history of protest that Europe does. Has all of EU gone on strike at once? The US is essentially as big as the EU, thats what needs to happen 3/4
