i don't doubt that there are good people at OpenAI who are horrified that this has happened -- that this KEEPS happening. but the rot starts from the top, and power-hungry CEOs like Altman make these decisions to put profit over people's LIVES. this has to stop.

Correct. Also they’re one of the only physical manifestations of the pervasiveness and dominance of big tech that the public can protest against. And they’re fighting back!
