The Trump administration continues to undermine the government’s ability to work for all people.

We are proud to join ACLU and others in representing unlawfully terminated employees in this class-action lawsuit.
BREAKING: We filed a class-action complaint with @democracyforward.org against the Trump Admin on behalf of federal workers who were unlawfully targeted for their participation in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Trump can't target federal workers based on their perceived values around DEI.

All I keep thinking about is how Pete Hegseth raised questions of the competency of a Black four-star general and Air Force fighter pilot who was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Hegseth asked did he get the job “because of his skin color? Or his skill? We’ll never know, but always doubt.”

I’m hearing from constituents whose jobs are at risk because they do agency outreach to minority communities.

Consider what this means for public health, national security, agriculture and justice.

The war on DEI has become a war on public service and government for all.

The AHA vetoed the resolution on grounds that it is outside the organization's mission and bylaws but passed this resolution three years ago. Shame.

Because I am a historian who goes to primary sources, I looked up the AHA's mission: it's..."to enhance the work of historians also encompasses professional standards and ethics, innovative scholarship and teaching, academic freedom, and international collaboration."

Outside the scope? For shame.
Stunning cowardice by the AHA Council. For shame. "The Council considers the Resolution to Oppose Scholasticide in Gaza ... to contravene the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws because it lies outside the scope of the Association’s mission and purpose." 🗃️
