I can’t even look at social media or the news anymore. The US is basically undergoing what looks like a coup and MAGA is cheering it on because of “wanting to uncover fraud.”

I have no words.

A professor was lecturing to his English class: “In English, a double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, a double negative is still a negative. However, there's no language where in a double positive can form a negative.”

A voice from the back of the room piped up, “Yeah, right.”

I feel like I’m documenting the fall of my country in real time.

I’m sorry OP, I hope you don’t mind me quoting this. It’s the first example I saw when I logged on.

This is horrific. I’m watching from abroad. My own family is affected. So are millions of others.

Off to X to see if anyone has tried to get through to EM.
I can’t login to the Medicaid portal in Missouri & can’t obtain my disabled daughter’s tube-feeding supplies. My senators’ phone lines are flooded. Is it the plan of this nation to murder the disabled to pay for tax breaks for the rich? I’m scared & have no-where to turn.

Deactivating my Facebook. It’s been kind of sad to look through all the old photos (I transferred them to Drive and hope I got them all, but just in case, I saved a bunch to my phone). Here are some favorites.
