A4: Simply the fact that I am alive still keeps me going. I know that many others don’t have that privilege and I want to speak up for those who no longer can’t.
If you start today, don’t be discouraged by others who have been in this for many years. Start small. Every voice counts! #btsm

A3: Some organization, like @braintumor.org already do a great job with policy advocacy. We can help by not stopping to share our stories, calling our representatives, and being hopeful that breakthroughs, advancements, and treatment options won’t be completely eradicated. #btsm

A1: I have been involved in self-advocacy since my diagnosis, then patient advocacy through mentorships, policy advocacy since 2019, and I’m focusing on research advocacy in the last 4-5 years. I am putting in all my efforts to better the lives of the #braintumor community. #btsm
