I’ve seen so many people spreading the misinformation that PBS is shut down or is shutting down.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has been shut down and PBS has been defunded.

HOWEVER!!! PBS still exists. It is more important now than ever that you donate to PBS if you can.

Am I the only one who thinks that it’s possible Lil’ Naz just took some really good molly, and that video is not indicative of a long-term condition?

You can usually get your way if you push hard enough. That doesn’t make it the right way.

There are two fires. Snell and Grade are their names. It’s not even summer yet.

I bought a new car because my old one was ready to die. I live in a mixed income neighborhood and am on the main path to a high school. How long did it take for me car to get keyed? Less than 4 days.

This is very noticeable among students as well. Especially international students are increasingly reluctant to speak, even inside the classroom, because they are - understandably! rightfully! - frightened they might get punished by the regime.

It is heartbreaking and it makes me so fucking angry.
One sign that we are living under an authoritarian regime is that a lot of people are acting like they are living under an authoritarian regime.
The fear among academics and lawyers now talking on the record on just about any topic that involves the federal government or the White House is really extraordinary and worrisome, and getting worse, it seems to me, every week. Dissent by an establishment figures becoming verboten in the US

Conflicts of Interest need to be addressed.

Trump and Musk have huge conflicts of interest. Who’s policing them?
The White House shouldn’t be a place for people to go enrich themselves.

I was thinking about leaving Facebook. Then, they deactivated my account after it was phished. 18 years of photos and connections to my friends across the country and abroad are gone. Still, I wonder if it even matters. Real connections are better than media connections. Nevertheless, I am here.

The Cramps play for a crowd at a state mental hospital in Napa, California. The date was June 13, 1978, a time when Napa was more known for the hospital than for its burgeoning wine industry.
