A day will come when Donald Trump no longer dominates our politics.

Even though this is obvious, it’s hard to keep in mind.

The future will belong to those who can think clearly about what happens next.

Gov. Newsom to Sky News:

"I can't take this complicity of people rolling over. I should have brought a bunch of knee pads for all the world leaders. I mean, handing out crowns, the Nobel prizes that are being given away. It's just pathetic."

"And I hope people understand how pathetic they look."

Just as everyone predicted with the exception of Donald Trump, Scott Bessent, Howard Lutnick, and Kevin Hassett. The last 3 knew they’ve been lying, not sure with Orange Caligula because he’s a moron and a liar so in his case it could be either one or both.

True.
All it would take is for a bunch of these CEOs to confront Trump in front of the world and tell him he's unfit to run a hot-dog stand, and his presidency would be over. Seriously.

But none of them has the balls to do it.

This is pure, unabashed bigotry.

If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party.

But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence.

A stain on our Congress.

/4 (4) it’s on FACEBOOK for Christ’s sake. If the readers tried to do anything they’d break a hip. In short, it is absolutely typical, standard, unremarkable political rhetoric unequivocally protected by the First Amendment. Your feeling that it might not be is just wrong and you are wrong.

As I understand it, the rationale of the cops and cop-defenders is that the rhetoric in the Facebook comment could have agitated someone else into doing something violent or illegal.

Here are some of the problems with that theory.

A woman left a comment on Facebook criticizing the Mayor of Miami Beach,.

The Mayor of Miami Beach then sent the cops to her home.

/2 First, it’s absolutely, unequivocally, definitively not actionable incitement outside the First Amendment. Not even Ilan Wurman would say so. To be outside First Amendment protection as incitement speech must be intended and likely to cause imminent lawless action. This speech is far from that.

Sunday, at least 7 ICE agents stormed a house and took an elderly man out into the freezing cold, wearing only his underwear and a blanket.

He was a member of the Hmong community, which came to the area from Laos in the 1970s after siding with the US in the Vietnam War.

Have you noticed ICE is consistently using suppressors (silencers) on their rifles?

Why are ICE agents using suppressors and battering rams to arrest old men and nonviolent people in broad daylight? This is for maximum effect imo.
