You are fine. Dealing with medical problems suuuuuck. My partner and I have had similar experiences to you, just not as intensive. It is hard not knowing what is happening and medical staff are not always communicating as much as you would like. Do what you have to do to cope.

My bad, I didn't hear that part. I could only make out the trump stuff and the f-slur. I still think he's a just powerless pathetic troll. I see lots of people like him where I live. They have no accomplishments of their own, so they join the winning team and pretend they are powerful.

I'd rather see people direct those energies toward the people doing the fascism, like ICE agents and the people who empower them.

Actually, it does. Hate speech is protected speech. The ACLU defended the KKK's right to have hate rallies. I dont like it, but it is the law. Using hate speech while committing an assault does upgrade it to a hate crime, however. Assaulting someone for using hate speech is also a crime.
