The bees are bearding a little bit in the evenings. This hive gets most of its sunlight at the end of the day. All the foragers come home and have to stay out so the others can vent the heat. The beard shrinks, and by nightfall, everyone is safe inside. #beekeeping

These bastards try to pretend that the arrows are antifa related by ignoring the first two arrows and pretending the last three are diagonal instead of down. Also, the antifa symbol usually has a circle around it. If he'd drawn a swastika, they would have said he drew a peace sign.

We had a butterfly come to visit one of the hives this evening. This hive gets a lot of evening sun, so the bees were venting heat. The air was filled with the sweet smell of honey.

COVID is spreading around. Keep yourself safe. I've been keeping up with the vaccine schedule. Today, I woke up with a sore throat. Oh no. Thankfully, I have VA care, and they hooked me up with Paxlovid. Many people do not have good healthcare opportunities, so the virus spreads.
