If I was Speaker of the House I would simply not pass a bill if I didn’t think it protected victims of sexual assault.
The top Republican in the Missouri House said Thursday that a proposed constitutional amendment to ban abortion approved by his GOP colleagues doesn’t go far enough to protect victims of sexual assault. #moleg #mogov

The pro-America tariff case is that countries should have to meet minimum labor, safety & environmental standards in order to unlock free trade so 🇺🇸 workers/business aren’t undercut by poverty wages & dirty industry.

Random, universal, inconsistent tariffs do nothing to accomplish that.

After today's hearing on #SB363 to expand Stand Your Ground law in Missouri, it was good to have a moment to speak with Boone County's senator--and member of the committee--Sen. Stephen Webber. Grateful to have @s-webber.bsky.social at the table, especially at hearings like today's. #moleg

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

Mizzou has a proud tradition of supporting veterans. My bill for MU to observe Veterans Day (MU currently doesn’t) would give employees a day with their families to honor the veterans in their lives. Grateful to the veteran-workers who came to the #MoLeg to testify!
