I think I come down pretty cleanly split between retro and modern, depending on where you draw the line. I'm leaning toward the PS3/360 era as the current main dividing line.
That said, I'm not a huge NES fan; most of my taste formed in the SNES/Genesis era.

Ghost of Yōtei
Alphabetical order, of course, since I’m not fond of ranking. But to pick a #1 it would be Silksong for me.

For my Game Pass game I’m definitely checking out The Outer Worlds 2 next, and I want to give Disco Elysium another shot with the GPU upgrade in case that fixed the issue i was having. (I doubt it will but here’s hoping.🤞)

There's a locked bathhouse in the City of Tears where you'll find her relaxing with your stolen geo. You can then attack her to recoup your stolen geo with "interest." 😉

Glad you enjoyed it! Definitely play Silksong when you’re ready, but I totally understand the metroidvania fatigue.
Also, at 98% complete you’re still missing 14%. There’s still plenty more waiting for you. 😁

If I could just get my fingers to cooperate with my brain (and remove the critical nagging voice inside my head when I don't instantly improve) I'd probably have maxed out that stat.
Even though I struggle with playing music myself, listening to and analyzing/appreciating it truly envelops me.

For me it's not the difficulty, I fully enjoy other difficult games like Elden Ring and Hollow Knight / Silksong.
I'm just not really a fan of the historical time period the game takes place, and I wasn't yet seeing any characters or story that made me want to return.
