I'm still iffy on the combat in this series, especially the boss battles. But the stories are consistently engrossing and the massive swing to feature 4 protagonists is impressively ambitious for RGG's second HD game.

We are almost exact opposites with music though. 😂

It was decent. I thought from the demo during a recent Steam Next Fest that it would grab me a lot harder than it ultimately did. I'm not really feeling that completionist urge.
Kudos for wringing so many unique playstyles out of a single idea though.

I’ve slowly been making my way through the series since Kiwami hit PS Plus. It shows some growing pains going into HD for the first time and is definitely rough around the edges, especially the boss battles. But I overall still enjoyed mainlining the story.

It is so easy to share reality, there’s no need for regurgitated slop from “AI” programs.

I won't pretend to be a day-one fan of the group, but I was on board not long after this album's release and I still can't believe 20 years have already passed since then...

Also, moots feel free to add me. 😁

To say Ben Gibbard was cooking the year these released is an understatement; there’s no way I could only choose one of them.

I stand by my "peak 7/10-type game" post from a couple of weeks ago. It reminds me of games we used to get a lot more frequently in the PS2/3 eras.
A little jank, some decent irreverent humor, and some surprisingly fun movement options, especially end-game.

• Disco Elysium
• Revenge of the Savage Planet
• Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
• Pokemon Emerald Seaglass
I might dip in and out of something else, but this is what I'm mainly focused on playing/beating at the moment.

Also, that music is just *so* good. And the nostalgia; I'm instantly transported back some 12ish years playing it on the PSP.

Steam > (top right) Account Details > View Purchase History > Scroll down!
I don't know why the DLC is separate so I added the next one. Interested to see if any of my moots are as... tenured... with Steam as me.

Guilty as charged. Here's a bonus.

This is probably the stupidest reason I've ever even temporarily dropped a game. Pausing the game and putting my PSP onto sleep mode didn't stop the in-game timer, so coming back to 50+ hours after 2 days pushed me away.
See also - Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

I made the mistake of starting this on Game Pass shortly before it was removed. I enjoyed it, but having to start over kind of sucked the wind from my sails.

E - Enslaved: Odyssey to the West
Wish I could say that I have a good reason for dropping it, I just kind of lost momentum for no good reason years ago. But it also feels like the type of game I can just pick back up no problem.

(Feel free to mentally swap out P4G with other Personas, they're all top-tier)

Really like the top-down metroidvania style. Combat and exploration are tight, and the writing is solid. I didn’t quite cry, but that last scene definitely choked me up a bit.
Strong recommend. Going to pet my cats now.
