I just learned that my father was swept up in an Reagan era immigration raid when he worked at a Mexican restaurant. My mom had to bring his green card to get him released.
Came up because I was asking him to send me his proof of citizenship in case he gets detained since he’s out of state & alone.

The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.
